Our Story
Every big journey starts somewhere small. Ours started with frustration.
We've always been obsessed with smart glasses. We bought them, wore them, and kept getting let down.
Every pair asked you to lift your hand to a touch bar on the frame, or strap on a ring, a wristband, or some other extra gadget. That isn't smart. Honestly, they felt more like dumb glasses.
If the industry kept going this way, smart glasses would stay a toy forever. We didn't think another app or another accessory could fix that. The foundation had to change.
That meant no borrowed, bloated Android stack. We would build the whole system ourselves, from scratch. We knew it would be the hard way. It was also the only way that made sense to us.
So a year ago, we started.
The question: how do you make glasses that feel natural, save power, and just work?
Our answer comes in three parts.
Motion sensing wakes the glasses up. Your hand does everything else. Your eyes tell them when to leave.
Waking up, without thinking about it.
This took us many tries. We tested a small ToF sensor. We tested nodding your head. Step by step, we landed on motion sensing: the glasses wake the moment you need them, and sleep the rest of the time to save power.
Gestures that don't tire you out.
Holding your hand up in the air is tiring, and it gets annoying fast. So we built a mapping system: you never reach for an icon. A tiny pinch at your side controls everything in front of you.
Eyes that sense attention, not a cursor.
When I first tried Apple Vision Pro, I noticed that using your eyes as a pointer doesn't feel natural. Our eyes jump around without us meaning to. You'd go to tap one thing, and your gaze had already moved to the next. It kept pulling me out of the moment.
So we don't use your eyes to point. We only use them to tell whether you're looking at the display. When you look away, it gets out of your way.
Together, they close the loop: wake, use, leave. No buttons, no extra gadgets.
We don't know where this journey ends.
What we do know is what we're chasing: a product that truly works, for everyone, not just early adopters.
